Mesut Ozil’s future lies away from Werder Bremen but is still uncertain

The future of Mesut Ozil is still very uncertain but it’s almost sure that he will be leaving Werder Bremen this summer.

A couple of weeks ago it seemed that Liverpool were going to sign the German International but since then other clubs expressed an interest in him. In England, apart from Liverpool even Manchester City are seriously interested in Mesut Ozil. In recent days Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona have also expressed their interest in Ozil.

Mesut Ozil’s contract with Werder Bremen expires in the summer of 2011. With only a year left on his contract the Bundesliga side is considering the idea of selling him now rather than losing him in a year’s time for free.
